My blades head is not detected
Updated over 2 months ago

The design of the re:Mix safety system does not allow the machine to start unless a blades head and a glass jar are mounted onto the body of the blender.

This feature is designed to prevent the blades from spinning freely without a glass jar, hence protecting your fingers.

This mechanism is based on the glass jar thread pushing the blade head pins, which in turn push into another pin positioned inside the body of the re:Mix.

If both the pins in the blades head and the pin inside the body are not pressed properly, the re:Mix will not operate.

There is a possibility that recycled glass jars are sometimes not perfectly manufactured, which means that the thread on your glass jar may sometimes be too short to properly press on the pins of your blades head.

If you look closely at the thread on your glass jar, you will see that there are usually 2 pairs of long lines and a pair of shorter lines.

If you find that with a particular glass jar the re:Mix sometimes doesn't start at first, remember to screw the jar with the long thread lines positioned to press on the blades-head pins rather than the shorter ones.
