Using jars safelyUpdated 6 hours ago
Using glass jars incorrectly can result in a safety hazard. Follow these instructions to ensure that the glass jars can be used safely over time.

Usage tips
- Do not use a damaged jar. Before every use, hold the jar up to light to spot hairline cracks, microscratches, crazing, cloudiness or damage to the glass.
- Do not fill jars above 70% of their volume.
- Retire any damaged jars, as they can potentially shatter during use.
- Do not press or hold the jar while mixing.
Caring tips
Avoid exposing the glass jars to thermal shocks (e.g. hot dishwashing cycles, freezing, hot foods) or hits from other objects:
- Use low-heat cycles if dishwashing (40 - 50 °C)
- Avoid hits to the jars from other jars or dishes.
- Avoid hits to the jars from metal utensils such as spoons.
- Handwashing prolongs the durability of the jars.
