re:Mix not starting or having issues runningUpdated 8 days ago

Here are some common actions you can try if your re:Mix does not start.

1. Make sure the device is plugged in

Yes, this important :)

2. Check the locking of the blades head unto the jar

Make sure the blades head is tightly screwed unto the jar. For your security, the mixer will not start if this condition is not met. Make sure the surface between the jar and head is clean.

3. Check the locking of the blades head unto the mixer body

Make sure you rotate the blades head unto the mixer body until you hear a "click". For your security, the mixer will not start if this condition is not met.

4. Manually check if the motor is working

⚠️  EXERCISE CAUTION when performing this step

  1. Remove the blades head from the body
  2. Turn the knob to position 1
  3. With your fingers away from the round motor gear, carefully press with your finger on the detection pin.

See this video for a demonstration (currently only available in German)

If the motor is working as it should, the motor will start spinning. This means that the issue lies with the blades head. You can order a replacement part yourself, or contact us if your product is under warranty.

If your motor did not start, we ask you to send the mixer to us for a repair. Please contact us.

5. Rotate the jar

Rotate the jar for at least 45 degrees, so that the blades head attaches to it in a new position.

6. Try another jar

Some jars might have small imperfections and the mixer might not detect them correctly. Please try another jar compatible with re:Mix

7. Unplug and let the motor cool off

Your re:Mix has an internal thermal breaker that shuts off the motor when it overheats. Unplug the mixer and let it cool for an hour before attempting to use it again. The thermal breaker will reset when the unit is unplugged and the thermal breaker cools down sufficiently.
